Introduction

The Fundación Juanelo Turriano offers and sponsors a number of prizes for research and study into the history of science, technology and engineering.

The biennial García-Diego International Prize is for research papers concerning the history of any of the branches of technology.

The annual Pedro Navascués Prize for PhD. theses is open to theses in the field of the history of engineering, on a subject that may be drawn from any branch or era.

The Turriano-ICOHTEC Prize is awarded each year by the International Committee for the History of Technology-ICOHTEC to the best PhD. thesis or monograph on the history of technology. The Fundación Juanelo Turriano sponsors this prize.
