Buda Lighthouse reproduction inauguration
Inmaculada Aguilar Civera, full professor of art history and a trustee of our Foundation, attended the inauguration of the reproduction of the Buda Lighthouse, a historic symbol of the Ebro River Delta, in Sant Jaume d'Enveja, Tarragona (Spain).

Tide mills. European heritage. Exhibition

Tide Mills, European Heritage traces a historic Atlantic Arc route from Ireland to the coasts of Andalusia. The exhibition is open until 16 April at the Chartered Institute of Architects of Cantabria.

Fundación Juanelo Turriano collaborated in the show, which is organised by the Tajamar Association.

Gold Symposium
Gold Symposium

Simpósio Gold de 40 anos de investigação no territorium Metallorum Tresminas will be held on 11 and 12 April.

This scientific gathering will present the main aspects of recent research into gold as a material and as a driver of technological and sociohistorical development in the Roman Empire. The symposium is organised by the Câmara Municipal de Vila Pouca de Aguiar and CCDRN-Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Norte.

The submission deadline for papers for the Third International ICOMOS-España Cultural Heritage Symposium ends on 30 April. The symposium will be held from 25 to 27 September 2025 at Valladolid University’s School of Architecture.

Calle Mayor de Europa digital platform

The digital platform Calle Mayor de Europa is now on line. The platform is designed as a way to rediscover the French Way of Saint James through the Internet’s most complete audiovisual archive of the ancient pilgrim route.

The route is divided into 17 sections, each of which presents stories, pictures and videos about the cultural, historic and religious heritage of the Way of Saint James, which was declared the first Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.

Ninth TICCIH Congress. Paper submission deadline extension
The deadline for submitting papers for the Ninth TICCIH Congress is extended until 30 April. The congress, whose topic is Movable industrial heritage: preservation, memory, innovation and social value, will be held in Motril, Granada (Spain) from 25 to 27 September.
