The judges of the Pedro Navascués Prize for PhD Theses met on 24 February 2025. It was decided to give the 6000-euro prize to:
Arquitectura y técnica en la obra racionalista de Luis Tolosa 1927-1956 [Architecture and technique in the rationalist work of Luis Tolosa, 1927-1956]. Submitted by Leticia García Moreno.

The 1000-euro second prize went to:

Los muros mixtos de madera en España. Estudio de una técnica tradicional para su puesta en valor y conservación [Half-timbered walls in Spain. Study of a traditional technique for renewed use and preservation]. Submitted by Alicia Hueto Escobar.

The judges thank all participants for their efforts.

Abstracts may be submitted through 28 February for the Second Iberian Molinology Symposium, which will be held from 15 to 17 May in Vila do Conde, Portugal.

The deadline for registration is 12 May.

Abstracts for the Ninth Congress on Industrial Heritage and Public Works, organised by the Spanish branch of the International Committee for the conservation of the Industrial Heritage (TICCIH), will be accepted through 3 March.

The congress, whose theme is The moveable industrial heritage: Preservation, memory, innovation and social value, will be held in Motril on 25 to 27 September 2025.

Early registration (with a 10% discount) ends on 9 March.

The Chartered Institute of Civil Engineers is now accepting nominations for its 2025 honorary memberships, medals of honour and medals for professional excellence.

Nominations must be emailed to the institute’s general secretary at secretariogeneral@ciccp.es before 27 March.

The submission deadline for articles for the Third ICOMOS España Cultural Heritage Symposium is 30 April. The symposium will be held at the Valladolid School of Architecture from 25 to 27 September.
