The deadline for submissions for the 2025 Turriano ICOHTEC Prize is 30 April. The prize is organised by ICOHTEC-International Committee for the History of Technology.

The awardee book will receive a  2500-euro prize funded by Fundación Juanelo Turriano and will be presented and discussed at the upcoming ICOHTEC symposium.

The archaeological site containing the Pared de los Moros de Churra medieval dam and the Bellavista de El Puntal archaeological site and retarding basins in Murcia have been declared listed properties by the Directorate-General of Cultural Heritage due to their cultural importance.

Fundación Juanelo Turriano supported the HUERMUR Association when it submitted its application for protection for these sites in 2023.

The deadline for submitting abstracts on Icohtec 52nd Annual Meeting to be held at Dunedin, New Zealand from 29 June to 5 July, has been extended to 15 February.

The Ninth TICCIH España Congress will be held in Motril from 25 to 27 September. Its topic is Movable industrial heritage: preservation, memory, innovation and social value.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is open until 3 March.

The Fourteenth International Molinology Conference (CIMO), whose topic is Age-old landscapes, repertory of wisdom, will be held in León from 16 to 19 October.

The conference is organised by the University of León (ULE) in conjunction with Fundación Juanelo Turriano, the ULE Institute of Humanism and Classical Tradition, the ULE’s INDETEHI/HISMECON research group, the Fundación Octavio Álvarez Carballo and the León Institute of Culture (León Provincial Council), and it is sponsored by the City of León.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is open from 14 March to 14 May.

Registration is open from 14 March to 14 October 2025.

The Seventh International Congress on Roman Engineering, organised by the Fundación de la Ingeniería Civil and the Chartered Institute of Associate Civil Engineers, will be held from 13 to 15 February 2025 in the main lecture hall of the University of Zaragoza’s Lecture Hall Building.

The registration deadline is 6 February.
