Papers can be submitted for the twelfth edition of the García-Diego International Prize until 18 January 2024.

Any person or group of people with an original, unpublished paper in Spanish on any branch of the history of technology can compete for the 9000-euro prize.

The articles published in Ingeniería y Construcción are now available on line in the Foundation’s library. Ingeniería y Construcción was one of Spain’s leading journals for the technical and scientific professions in the first third of the twentieth century (January 1923-August 1936).

Over 1500 articles are available over the link to our collections or the web portal of the Spanish National Library’s Periodicals Division.

The Asociación para la Conservación y Estudio de los Molinos (ACEM, Association for the Conservation and Study of Mills) has presented a new project, the ACEM Bibliography of Molinology and Repository.

This collection of documents includes the journal Molinum and the proceedings of molinology congresses and symposiums, plus references to publications, recordings and documents related with mills and traditional artifices.

The Fifth International Spanish-American Congress on the History of Construction and Thirteenth National Congress on the History of Construction will be held on 20 to 23 March in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic.

Congress organisers include the Sociedad Española de Historia de la Construcción (SEdHC, Spanish Society of the History of Construction), among others.
