This year marks one hundred years since the death of Ricardo Velázquez Bosco (1843-1923), architect, fellow of the San Fernando Royal Fine Arts Academy (1888) and director of the School of Architecture (1910).
The City of Madrid’s Directorate General of Cultural Heritage has organised a cultural programme with tours, exhibits and a series of lectures, among other activities.
The lecture series, which ends on 30 November, is directed by Javier Mosteiro. The featured lecturers include Miguel Sobrino and Inmaculada Aguilar, members of the Advisory Commission and trustees of Fundación Juanelo Turriano.
