Abstracts for the I International Congress on Public Works Heritage and Civil Engineering on the theme Building landscape and encouraging tourism can be submitted until 15 March next.

The congress is organised by the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineers and its section in Castile-La Mancha. It will be held from 26 to 29 September 2023 in Cuenca, Toledo and Madrid.

The Fundación Juanelo Turriano is one of the collaborating institutions.

The Chartered Institute of Associate Civil Engineers (Spanish initials CITOP) is publishing Bernardo Revuelta Pol’s article Juanelo Turriano, relojero del emperador, ingeniero del rey [Juanelo Turriano, clockmaker to the emperor, engineer to the king] in issue 422 of its journal Cimbra.

Bernardo Revuelta is the director of our Foundation.

Communications may now be submitted for the 50th ICOHTEC (International Committee for the History of Technology) Symposium, which will address the theme Interdependencies. From Local Microstories to Global Perspectives on the History of Technology at Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia, on 14 to 18 August 2023.

The deadline for submission is 1st March.
