The Fundación Juanelo Turriano announces the 11^th edition of its García-Diego International Prize, worth 12000 euros, for research in any of the branches of the history of technology.

The prize is open to any individual or group submitting an original, unpublished paper in Spanish.

The deadline for submissions is 20 January 2022.

The deadline for submitting papers to the 48^th ICOHTEC Symposium has been extended to 1 March. On this occasion, the symposium, which bears the title Giants and Dwarfs in Science, Technology and Medicine, will be held virtually from Prague on 25 to 31 July.

The ICOHTEC Turriano Prize will be awarded during the 26^th International Congress of History, Science and Technology, to be held concurrently with the symposium.

The permanent virtual exhibition Modesto Bargalló. Haciendo ciencias en las aulas [Modesto Bargalló, practising science in the classroom] can now be visited at the link below. This highly didactic showing opened in 2021 on the occasion of the 50^th anniversary of the death of Professor Modesto Bargalló.

It is constantly updated by organiser and curator Luis Moreno Martínez, 2017-2018 awardee of the Juanelo Turriano Foundation doctoral grant for his research on this professor, passionately devoted to teaching science.
