The closing date for the exhibition Sueño e ingenio. Libros de ingeniería civil: del Renacimiento a las Luces [Dreams and ingenuity, civil engineering books ifrom the Renaissance to the Enlightenment], on display at Spain’s National Library, has been set back to 25 October.

Rosario Baños Oliver, Fundación Juanelo Turriano doctoral grant awardee (2016-2017 edition), earned the highest distinction for her thesis Ventas y Posadas en la Región de Murcia. Una Arquitectura en peligro de extinción [inns located in the region of Murcia, endangered architecture].

The thesis was read at the Technical University of Cartagena’s School of Industrial Engineering on 16 September last.

INCUNA, Spain's industrial archaeology association, is organising the twenty-second edition of its International Industrial Heritage Conference around the theme ‘In pursuit of a new era for industrial heritage’.

The deadline for receiving communications and posters for the Twelfth Spanish Symposium on Dams is 10 December. The symposium, organised by the Spanish National Committee on Large Dams (SPANCOLD), will be held in Gran Canaria from 1 to 5 March 2021.
