In December last, the Carrara marble bust of Juanelo Turriano custodied at the Santa Cruz Museum in Toledo, Spain, was removed to the country’s Cultural Heritage Institute (IPCE) for study, documentation and restoration. The work will be supervised by stone materials expert Ms Ana Laborde Marqueze.
