The exhibition entitled Janello Torriani, genio del Rinascimento was presented at the Fondazione Bracco, Milan, on 15 June last. The exhibition will open on 10 September at Cremona, where it will be on display through 29 January 2017. The curators, Cristiano Zanetti and Cinzia Galli, describe the showing as the most exhaustive undertaken to date on the ingenious Cremonese inventor.
Cristiano Zanetti’s paper entitled Educación y redes de Juanelo Turriano: historia social de un ingeniero renacentista [Juanelo Turriano’s education and networks: social history of a Renaissance engineer] won the seventh García-Diego International Prize.
