The university outreach course on Enlightenment Engineers organised by the Spanish National Distance University and Fundación Juanelo Turriano  under the supervision of Alicia Cámara Muñoz and Bernardo Revuelta Pol drew to an end on 9 November. Twenty eight registered and several audit pupils attended.

The course programme included a guided tour of the General Military Archive at Segovia.

Fundación Juanelo Turriano will publish digital versions of the lessons.

On 11 November Pedro Navascués, Fundación Juanelo Turriano trustee and curator of the Ars Mechanicae exhibition that will be on display through 16 November at Valladolid’s Museum of Science, delivered a conference entitled Ars Mechanicae: la construcción medieval (Ars Mechanicae: Medieval construction). His lecture formed part of the Twelfth Science Week in the Spanish region of Castile-Leon. 

The Fundación Juanelo Turriano Library has enhanced the accessibility of its digitised documents with a new platform that facilitates searches in its old books stacks, its own publications and its periodicals collection.
