The Fundación Juanelo Turriano and the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) are organising a summer course entitled Engineers Architects, to be held at the School from 15 to 18 July.
The course carries credits as an elective.

The awards ceremony for the Fundación Juanelo Turriano’s biennial García-Diego International Prize, worth 12 000 euros, will be held on Wednesday 11 June at 7:00 PM at the Spanish Institute of Engineering (38 General Arrando Street, 28010 Madrid). The research paper distinguished with this seventh edition of the prize, authored by Cristiano Zannetti, is entitled“Educación y redes de Juanelo Turriano: historia social de un ingeniero renacentista” [Juanelo Turriano, Renaissance engineer: schooling and social circles].

A ceremony inhonour of José Calavera Ruiz, PhD. in Civil Engineering and honorary president of INTEMAC, will be held on Tuesday 3 June from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineers.
The ceremony is open to the public.
