| The book Submarino Peral, día a día de su construcción (the Peral submarine, day-by-day construction) was presented at the School of Naval Architecture on 6 March, with the participation of School Director Luis Ramón Núñez Rivas, Fundación Juanelo Turriano President Victoriano Muñoz Cava, author Juan Ignacio Chacón Bulnes and José Antonio González Carrión, Admiral and Director of the Naval History and Culture Authority. |

| On 12 February Fundación Juanelo Turriano collaborator Daniel Crespo delivered a conference on industrial heritage and civil engineering as part of the master’s course on heritage organised by the Technical University of Cartagena’s School of Architecture and Construction Engineering. In his conference, he described the foundation’s most recent interventions and projects. |

| On the occasion of its seventh anniversary, the Spanish National Library’s Periodicals Division has added new historical periodicals to its open access portal, where they can be read and downloaded by readers. Two are of particular interest: Los transportes férreos (rail transport, 1903-1920) and Anuario de ferrocarriles españoles (Spanish railway yearbook, 1893-1927). |
