| “ILDEFONSO SÁNCHEZ DEL RÍO” EXHIBITION AT OVIEDO |

| The exhibition entitled “Ildefonso Sánchez del Río. Ingenuity as a legacy” opened on 5 April. The opening ceremony took place at Oviedo’s City Hall, in the Trascorrales Room, where the exhibition will be showing through 27 April. Mayor Agustín Iglesias Caunedo, Councilman for Culture Jorge Menéndez Vallina, Fundación Juanelo Turriano President Victoriano Muñoz Cava, Centre for Public Works Studies and Experimentation representative Dolores Romero and the exhibition curators Pepa Cassinello and Bernardo Revuelta Pol were in attendance.

The Royal Academy of Engineering has announced the 4th edition of the Agustín de Betancourt and Juan López de Peñalver award for young researchers. The deadline for submissions is 30 April 2013. - ¨CONFERENCES ON FOUNDATION, STRUCTURAL AND CONCRETE PATHOLOGY
A conference series on the above subjects will be held from 15 to 17 May at the Valencian School of Architecture, organised by the School and the Eduardo Torroja Institute - ¨ANTALYA 2014 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES
