| The Fundación Juanelo Turriano Board of Trustees has appointed José María Goicolea Ruigómez, presently member of its Advisory Commission, as new trustee. José María Goicolea is PhD. in Civil Engineering and full professor of Mechanics at the Madrid School of Civil Engineering. New members were also appointed to the Advisory Commission, namely: - Isabel Bestué Cardiel, architect (University of Granada)
- Pepa Casinello Plaza, PhD. in architecture (Madrid School of Architecture)
- Ignacio Menéndez-Pidal de Navascués, PhD. in civil engineering (Madrid School of Civil Engineering)

| The first issue of Cuadernos Técnicos GTED-UC on construction and rehabilitation has now been published by the University of Cantabria's Building Technology Group. Dr. Engineer José Calavera, centre of attention in this first issue, is a Fundación Juanelo Turriano trustee. |

| The Fundación Eduardo Torroja has begun a series of seminars with a view to encouraging innovation in architecture and engineering. The first, held on 29 November at the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineers (42 Almagro Street, Madrid), addressed the structure of Libertad Tower. |

| The exhibition "Public works, places and itineraries. The Valencian landscape" opened on 22 November at Valencia's Museum of History. The showing, curated by Inmaculada Aguilar and produced by the UVEG-CITMA Demetrio Ribes Chair, will be open to the public through 15 January 2013. |
