"ARTIFEX", EXHIBITION AT SEGOVIA |
| Preparations are now underway at Segovia's former mint to host the travelling exhibition "Artifex. Roman engineering in Spain". The exhibition is scheduled to open to the public on 5 October. | This book was originally published in 1950. Its author, Henry J. Thunnissen (1890-1978), was a Dutch architect and engineer who, from the outset of his career in 1910-20, opted for vaulted architecture. The Instituto Juan de Herrera has now released Rafael García García's Spanish translation, with a preface by Santiago Huerta and a biographical note by Claudia Thunnissen.
