News View All First Roadway Studies Symposium. Exhibition and round table News The First Roadway Studies Symposium will be held at the Madrid School of Civil Engineering on 9 October. The event will pay tribute to the distinguished engineer and humanist Eduardo Saavedra y Moragas and include an exhibition of archaeological objects from the Saavedra Collection in the Royal Academy of History’s Antiquities Division. The symposium is organised by the Asociación Internacional de Caminería and the Technical University of Madrid’s School of Civil Engineering in conjunction with Fundación Juanelo Turriano. Expert lectures on roadway studies and the life and works of Eduardo Saavedra will be followed by a colloquium and the official opening of the exhibition, which will be on display through December 2019.
