News View All García-Diego International Prize awarded (9th edition) Garcia Diego international prize At its 28th February 2018 meeting held at the Fundación Juanelo Turriano headquarters, the judges decided to award the nineth edition of the García-Diego International Prize, worth 12.000 euros to: Víctor Pérez Álvarez for the paper entitled Técnica y fe: el reloj medieval de la catedral de Toledo.[Engineering and faith: Toledo Cathedral’s Medieval clock] The two second prizes, for 1000 euros each, were awarded to: María Giménez Prades for the paper Documentos cartográficos del Cuerpo de Ingenieros Militares en el siglo XVIII: Introducción a los materiales y a su técnica pictórica. [Eighteenth century Corps of Military Engineers’ maps: introduction to the materials and the pictorial technique]. Margarita Ana Vázquez Manassero for the paper El "yngenio" en palacio: arte y ciencia en la Corte de los Austrias (ca. 1585-1640).
