Activities > Exhibition View All Enlightenment waterworks Exhibitions An exhibition on waterworks built during the Enlightenment, organised by Cedex-Cehopu(Centre for Public Works Studies and Experimentation/Centre for Historic Studies on Public Works and Urban Planning) in conjunction with Fundación Juanelo Turriano, opened on 10 July at the Ministry of Internal Development’s Arcades Hall. The exhibition covers some of the most significant waterworks undertaken during the Spanish Enlightenment, when the country embarked on a programme of unprecedented scope and ambition to modernise its hydraulic facilities. The exhibition will be open to the public through 2 November 2014.
